Welcome to this deep-dive into the wonderful world of theory!

I'm Sam, co-director of Cambium Sustainable.

I’ve been delivering, training and developing Forest School practice in the UK for over a decade. During my work, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have met many other practitioners from settings around the world.

However, as Forest School educators, we are constantly learning and developing too and this process continues no matter how long you’ve been practicing.

Like many of you, I love a theory, and when you are working with a group and suddenly something happens that perfectly illustrates that theory, that's a moment to treasure!

In this Course we're going to explore 10 theories that I've seen in action at Forest School, I'm sure you have too. As you work through this Course, think back to your own experiences and the children you've worked with. I'm sure they will bring these theories to life for you, just like my groups do for me!
